Skip Hop: Pronto! Changing Station

Not really a fan of standard diaper bags. I hate that they say to the world, “I have a baby and therefore must carry a bag with cartoon characters on it.” I always figured I wouldn’t even want one and therefore was looking for a good way to keep baby stuff organized in the midst of my [massive] purse.

As my husband and I were making our way through Babies R Us trying to compile a registry, I happened to spy the Skip Hop Pronto! Changing Station. I thought it was a genius idea and registered for it immediately. I was so excited to see this little gizmo while I unwrapped my baby shower gifts. At the time I had no idea that this would be one of the few things I was excited to have and use after Tate was born and that my enthusiasm was totally warranted.

This thing rocks my socks. At any given time I have access to diapers, wipes, and a detachable changing pad. This is invaluable for me because Tate has to be changed in inconvenient situations on a very regular basis. I love that if my husband takes the babe somewhere, all I have to do is hand him the changing station, and he can clip it to the car seat or throw it in a messenger bag and he will have what he needs.

Do any of you have this product or something similar? What is something you registered for that has exceeded your expectations?

You can buy the Skip Hop Pronto! Changing Station for $30.00.

I have this… but I also have the skip hop diaper bag. Its black and looks more like a messenger bag than a diaper bag, so my husband isn’t embarrassed to carry it (me too) but it’s big enough to hold everything I need for a day out except the cooler for breastmilk.

I have the same thing and love it to bits. It’s fabulous!

I’m actually surprised how much I use our Boppy pillow. We took it to the hospital but didn’t use it much there. Once we got home, though I’ve used it more than I ever thought I would. I use it for tummy time and to prop Bryce up for playtime. And I CAN nurse without it, but I so prefer not to. :)
