2011 is coming to an end.
I started the year with a kindergartener and ended it with a first grader reading to his active 9 month old little brother. I can hardly believe it myself, but there it is all in pictures …

Resolution Run - New Year's Day 2011

February 2011
Little Bean is due in 2 months and we are ready! Thankfully as he decided to join us a month early.

Our First Family Photo
March 2011. It was the first day we were home alone as a family of 4. I set up the tripod and snapped the first of many family photos.

Easter 2011
Big Brother lost his first tooth. Little Bean got his first Ester Basket. It was our first family function since baby.

I will never forgot this day. Big Brother asked for the very first time if he could hold his little brother. Before then he was very hesitant. I'm convinced he thought I'd give birth to a 1 year old. He never expected such a little little brother. :)

Their relationship is progressing and Big Brother is enjoying his role and title.

Little Guy may have warmed up to the idea of being a brother but it wasn't until around this time that Little Bean really started to connect with him. Watching him watch his older brother is fascinating. You can already see the love and admiration.
