Talk about toy chaos. That about sums up the last 24 hours at my house. Scratch that, seven days. I am talking, I looked around the room and had anxiety kind of chaos. Santa, let’s talk–you may have gone off the list some this year and outdid yourself.
Every year, when I am playing Santa, I forget one thing–we have to have a place to put everything. And every year, I don’t realize how much I really bought until the Christmas Day aftermath. Not to mention, we wake up Christmas morning, open presents, head to my grandmothers (as Santa always delivers there, too) and we exchange with my parents. But the day isn’t over there–it’s off to exchange with my husbands family! At the end of the day, it looks like Toys “R” Us threw-up all over my living room.
Like many of you, I am sure the weeks after Christmas becomes organize toys immediately and you spend time finding a place for the new things. And, well, it can be quite overwhelming. Don’t fret. For those who may be feeling a little claustrophobic in toy land, you’ll want to browse through a few beautifully-designed yet stylish and organized playrooms. After all, there is nothing better than pretty organization right? And hey–these rooms will seriously inspire if you’re stuck in a giant toy mess rut. Plus, it’s a new year and the perfect time to jump on that “Get organized” resolution.
