Paul's 5th Month in Snapshots

Hi. I'm five months old.

It feels like just yesterday I was wishing for warm weather so we could go play outside. But the truth is, I must have blinked real quickly, because it’s already the beginning of July, and temperatures outside are reaching into the triple digits.

Paul’s 5th month of life proved to be quite a blast, doing all sorts of fun activities like visiting family in Michigan, going swimming in a pool, and even went to his first minor league baseball game.

He also started rolling over from front to back, and even back to front. He had his  first few tastes of solid foods, and even started letting his big sister carry him around a bit.

I loved capturing all these moments with my cell phone camera.

I’m not a photographer by any means, but I always have my camera phone ready and waiting for a cute baby moment to pop up.

We took Paul to his first ever minor league baseball game! Obviously, his seventh inning stretch turned into more of a yawn.

    Still Breastfeeding
My goal has always been to breastfeed Paul through his 6th month. We successfully checked the 5th month off the calendar.

I don't like to see my baby cry by any means. But I must admit, his little cry face is kinda adorable (for a second).

The weather in June was hot but amazing! Paul and his dad loved chillin' out in the hammock.

Oh look, it's a pile of clean!
  • Roadtrip 6 of 10
Road trips that include 5 month olds also include lots of pit-stops for nursing, diaper changing, and snuggles.
  • Picnics with family 7 of 10

The best part of the road trip is when you reach the end, and you get to hang out with far away Aunties.

On our return trip home, we experienced a bump in the road, literally. Paul and I took a breather while a tire was quickly changed.

    Stroller rides are exhausting.

"I hold him!", "I hold him!"
