Paul's 6th Month in Snapshotsemily
This past month, baby Paul celebrated his half-birthday. I simply cannot believe six months has flown by so fast. Well, actually I can. But wow, six months already.
I felt like this was a really big month for Paul, hitting some major milestones! He learned to sit up unassisted, cut his first tooth, and even started eating solid foods. He also went on his first ever family vacation, went swimming for the first time, and even play in the sand a bit.
It’s been such a fun adventure, watching him grow and interact with the rest of the family.
And as always, I’m documenting his whole first year with daily snapshots with my camera phone.
Paul’s 6th month in snapshots:
My little monkey. 1 of 9Paul is very much teething right now, working on cutting his second bottom tooth. This little silicone training toothbrush is his new favorite toy!
All smiles, all the time. 2 of 9Paul is hands down the happiest baby I've ever had. Not joking, he smiles all day long, and I love it!
New tricks. 3 of 9Paul's newest trick this month is holding his own bottle. I can tell he's going to be an independent little guy!
Baby bum. 4 of 9Baby bottoms in cloth diapers, nothing cuter. Makes all the extra laundry so worth it.
Meal time is messy time. 5 of 9Sometimes, I really wonder how much actually makes it into his mouth!
Pool time. 6 of 9Best part of the summer has to be going to the beach and to the pool. Admittedly, Paul doesn't love the water, but he loves the snuggles after!
Blocks with big sister. 7 of 9One of Paul's other tricks this month was that he learned how to sit up on his own, unassisted. This has been awesome, because now he's actually starting to play with toys.
Brothers gotta hug. 8 of 9My two year old is just starting to take a real interest in baby Paul. Hopefully soon they will become the best of buddies.
Doing chores. 9 of 9Here is baby Paul, sleeping on the job, when I asked him to fold the laundry. Bad baby!
I’m super excited for this next month. My big kids are going back to school, and I’ll more time to really focus in on playing with Paul. And who knows, maybe the seventh month will be the month of mobility. Am I ready to have a crawlers?
