Paul's 8th Month in Snapshots

Fall is my absolute favorite season of the entire year. Quickly followed by the chill of winter. Yes, you heard me right, I honestly love winter and everything that comes along with it.

But fall, you have my heart and soul. I love you like hot apple cider on crisp Saturday afternoon.

So it should be no surprise that this past month, Paul and I had a great time doing lots of fun things in and around town. Trips to the park, thrifting out favorite junky shops, and walks around the neighborhood. Looking back, September was pretty great.

Paul also checked off  a couple pretty significant milestones of his own. He cut his top two teeth, is slowly starting to crawl, and is even started eating a bit of table food at every meal.

Here are a few of my favorite snapshots from Paul’s 8th month:

  • Sick baby (and mama). 1 of 10
    Sick baby (and mama).
Know what's pretty miserable? When both baby and mama are struck down with the same horrible cold. I've decided taking care of a baby when you don't feel good yourself is a certain flavor or torture.
  • Spot the baby butt. 2 of 10
    Spot the baby butt.
This past month we got a rad new video baby monitor. Keep an eye out for a review of this bad boy in the next couple weeks!
  • A boy, a blanket, and his bunny. 3 of 10
A boy, a blanket, and his bunny.
Paul is finally starting to show attachment to things like this blanket and bunny. I kinda love it.
  • Special delivery! 4 of 10
    Special delivery!
He's becoming more and more mobile by the minute. Just this weekend I found him hiding out in this box. Ok fine, I put him there because he looked cute. Then I took a picture (of course).
  • Fall weather! 5 of 10
    Fall weather!
It's finally sweater weather here in Indiana. Paul and I are both pretty excited for the cooler temps.
  • Breakfast coma. 6 of 10
    Breakfast coma.
Nothing like eating and napping at the same time. This is what happens when mom turns her back for 2 minutes!
  • Paul loves vintage Pyrex. 7 of 10
    Paul loves vintage Pyrex.
Ok, fine. Paul's mom loves vintage Pyrex. Paul is just his mom's thrifting accomplice buddy.
  • There’s a disturbance in the fource. 8 of 10
There's a disturbance in the fource.
Also known as Paul's not thrilled with his Halloween costume.
  • Green grass is fun! 9 of 10
    Green grass is fun!
After a summer with a brown yard due to the unfortunate Midwest drought, we're pretty excited to see everything become green again. Much more comfortable to play on.
  • Slinging it around town. 10 of 10
    Slinging it around town.
With the cooler temperatures of the fall rolling in, we're taking lots of after dinner walks around the neighborhood. Paul has really taken to the ring sling, as of late.
