What would you think if you saw a baby infant carrier on TOP OF A CAR driving down the street – with a baby in it?

Baby & Car Seat Left On Top of The Car

19-year old Catalina Clouser of Phoenix remembered to strap her baby into his baby infant carrier. For some reason, she then placed the car seat on top of the car. What happens between that and her driving off is unknown. What we do know is Catalina drove off with the baby on top of the car.

The car seat fell off of the roof and landed in a nearby intersection. A couple driving down the road, noticed the car seat in the road and pulled over. Thankfully, the 5-week-old baby was uninjured. He was taken to the hospital as a precaution, and is now in the custody of Arizona Child Protective Services.

Bad Decisions

Sadly, this incident was the second run in with the cops that day. Early in the day, she was in the car with her boyfriend and baby when they were pulled over. Her boyfriend was arrested and charged with a DUI.

How does one deal with her boyfriend being arrested? Catalina went to a friend’s house – with her new baby and smoked out. Just after midnight, when leaving her friend’s house is when the incident occurred involving the baby being left on top of the car.

Catalina Clouser is now facing a DUI and child abuse charges.

Time to Grow Up

I really hope this serves as a wake-up call. Everyone makes mistakes, but once you become a mom your mistakes affect more than yourself. Becoming a mom means it’s time to grow up. Pot smoking and baby handling don’t mix.
