Small Cribs For Small SpacesNatalie
I don’t really have to say it, I’ve written about it a million times before (ad nauseum!), but our space is real small. And baby cribs? Considering babies start out so tiny, baby cribs are huge! Ginormous! Who needs that much space to sleep in? Especially if they’re swaddled up so tight they can’t even move anyway?
Brandon and I had a heck of a time finding a crib small enough to fit in our humble abode, and when we finally found one, it was like the heavens opened up! Hallelujah!
So, to save you fellow small-spacers the work, here is a round up of some of the more practical cribs out there that we found. That is, small cribs. Small cribs for small babies living in small spaces. After the jump!
BLOOM ALMA MINI CRIB 1 of 5With the crib mattress coming in at just under 18"x36", this dude is seriously tiny. Easily the smallest available. We have one and we love it. It is rather narrow (narrow enough that Huck couldn't roll over in his sleep if he tried--luckily he isn't all that crazy about rolling over in his sleep) but it has style and function in spades. The best part? It is super easy to fold up and store, and assembly involves pulling it apart like an accordion, and laying down the mattress. Done.
SORELLE NEWPORT MINI CONVERTIBLE CRIB AND CHANGER 2 of 5Not only is this guy small, but he's a whole lotta stuff in one. And cheap, to boot. This guy will save you serious space.
DAVINCI MINI CRIB 3 of 5Made of solid pine and coated in nontoxic materials, this crib even converts to a toddler bed. Genius!
DELTA FOLDAWAY PORTABLE CRIB 4 of 5At just over a Benjamin Franklin, this crib is possibly the cheapest option. It is 35% smaller than most standard cribs, can be folded up for easy storage, and I really like that it comes on wheels.
STOKKE SLEEPI SYSTEM 5 of 5Oh yes, the Stokke. Not only is this a smaller crib, but the circular shape saves on space (no space-eating corners here!) In my dream of dreams, this crib was in our budget. Good heavens but it is a looker!
Any that I missed? Do tell!
