As a parent, it’s easy to get a ahead of myself on the baby’s firsts. We were overly excited to see Tate stare at presents and try to eat wrapping paper on Christmas. We were overjoyed to dress him up as a turtle on Halloween when he was oblivious to every part of the exercise but the hat strapped to his head.
Tate’s first Easter egg hunt was no different. It pretty much involved setting Tate in the grass and handing him plastic eggs. Which he then proceeded to attempt to eat. Oh and taking 200 pictures – but that is always an important part of the first holiday ritual.
At least Steve and I got a bit of candy out of the whole affair.
What did you do for your baby on their first Easter?
