Teething Soother
I think Evie is teething again.
When she cries and shoves her hands in her mouth, it’s a giveaway.
You see, I’m really smart.
Her two little bottom teeth crack me up and I’m excited to see more, though I feel like she’s no longer a baby, but a toddler when gets a full toothy smile.
To help soothe her sore gums, I dip a corner of a terry cloth burp cloth in water, put it in a plastic bag and freeze it. It’s perfect because her hands don’t get cold and the frozen corner keeps her attention for a while.
This particular burp cloth (isn’t it cute?) was made by my friend, Shannon, who sells them in all colors. (shannonbpetersen@gmail.com)

She’s so darn cute, I’m sure you’re excited for new teeth. Admittedly I missed the toothless grin when by kids got older. And what a great idea for the burp cloth! After my baby was done with these burp cloths, I used them for dirty hand clean up, put it under her while changing a diaper, and also used them as bibs! I ordered some dental clips (the ones that they use at the dentist’s office to keep that paper in place on your chest) and clipped the burp cloth’s around her neck.
Perfect timing! My son is teething terribly. I’ve got frozen wash clothes and teethers for him but ut only helps a bit. So sad to see my usually happy baby ao sad.
Genius! Teethers never worked for my kids, ever.
