The Daddies in Addie's Life on Father's Day
By Danielle625 |
Yesterday as a family we celebrated Father’s Day. It began with a lazy morning home and my husband mowing the lawn… and was followed by a trip to my parents house for Sunday dinner… something we do quite often, although yesterday was obviously different because of the holiday.
We packed up the troops, and headed down only to have the boys be completely uninterested in anything we wanted to do. All they wanted to do was get wet, and play in the pool, and drive their fire trucks. No walks, or anything I typically would do with them down at their house.
So Addie ended up being the center of attention for most of the time. She was passed around like a sack of potatoes from my Mom, to me, then my Dad, and of course her very own Daddy. But it was amazing to see all the love in these big strong, tattooed, and manly men when it came to this little pink bundle of blankets, and headbands. They all instantly melt and it is probably one of thee most heart warming things to watch. I am sure you guys have all seen it before with your own children though right?
I wanted to share a couple pictures from the day, because when I got home, and started to upload them, some were just way too cute not to include! On a side note… I was LUCKY to get any of my husband since he hates getting his picture taken!
