This is What Life is All About!

Welcome to the World!

There is a new baby in our family and I couldn’t be more excited.

Of course we all know she is not mine… but one of my good friends gave birth to that beautiful little girl Scarlett over the weekend and it started to put life into prospective a little bit more.

Most of my girlfriends are single or on the verge of getting married, or much older with more kids than me!  But only the one has finally joined the motherhood circle with me and I am overly excited.

It was in the moment that I ventured to the hospital this morning with Addison to visit this brand new little peanut, all 9lbs of her… that I realized as we are all getting older and starting our own families… this is what life is all about. It is the circle of life — you get older and have kids — your friends get older and they have their kids and when you are really lucky they all grow together.

Now Addison has a built in BFF. Two girls among a sea of big boys!

They were friends when Little Miss Scarlett was in the womb and now that she is out it seems like Addie is definitely intrigued by her. Although she was slightly jealous when mommy was holding the baby. Completely surprising to me since she has so many damn siblings!

It really was just one of those life milestones that makes you stop, take a deep breathe and realize how beautiful and precious life is – and appreciate all those who you spend your days with!

Congratulations to the beautiful parents!
What a beautiful little girl!

I cannot wait to watch her grow!
