Watching the news coverage from the Tornados in the south has been heartbreaking. We have had a hand full of bad storms and a tornado that I can remember in my area so I cannot even fathom what these people are going through.
It absolutely has broken my heart.
I came across a story this weekend about a baby girl who was found alive 10 miles from where she lived. I looked at my mother who was holding my infant daughter and cried while we both agreed that an angel carried that little baby safely to where she was found.
I am not a religious person at all but I totally believe in angels — and I do believe in miracles. And this?
This is a miracle.
A baby girl was found alone and alive in an Indiana field 10 miles from her home after violent storms spawning twisters swept through the Midwest and South, officials said.
The baby, who was not identified, was in critical condition at Kosair Children’s Hospital in Louisville, Ky., said spokesman Brian Rublein. Family members were with her, but he would not provide more details.
As I continued to read — I continued to cry.
Someone was definitely with that little girl as she was torn from her home and family and carried so far away. My thoughts and prayers are with every person who has been impacted by these devastating storms, and I encourage anyone who can to donate to the Red Cross and all the efforts and charities assisting those who were the victims!
