VIDEO: Mom Tip of the Week: Getting Your Baby In a Sleep RoutineWhen you’re a parent, sleep is the holy grail. It’s something that every parent is generally striving to get more of, but few ever really do. My hand is definitely raised here.

For months and months I was scraping by with only about four good hours of sleep a night and I sort of thought I might die. But, then we got Fern into a sleep routine and all was right with the world again.

I’m not going to tell you that I get 12 uninterrupted hours of sleep on a regular basis these days, but I will tell you that I usually at least six hours of sleep and at least a couple of times a week, eight hours (!). Getting my little one into a sleep routine has made all the difference in the world and I thought I’d share a couple of things that worked for us. I’d also love to invite any of you who’ve gotten your babies into good sleep routines to share how you did it in the comments – the other readers will be much appreciative I’m sure!
