Here in Hollywood, actors are revving up for Oscar Night, where they anxiously await approval or denial of the most prestigious award in the entertainment business. Recently, our own Amy Keyishian presented her baby’s version of the Best Picture nominees: The Kids Are Alright, The King’s Speech, The Social Network, and Inception. I know my 2-year-old has asked to watch them all at least fifteen times each.
All over the country, babies are giving us dramatic performances 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In my opinion, these scenes easily rival the juiciest ones on the big screen.
My own baby gave me a pretty dramatic scene this evening as well: I call this: Nothing Is Right, Mommy! Oh, and that is my finger in the shot, in case you were wondering. Cinematography award coming my way anytime soon? I think not.
Even more amusing is Babble’s collection of Oscar-worthy performances by babies. I’m personally fond of the tap-dancer and the mini Zuckerberg.
Check them out for a laugh (or twenty-four)!
