Evie first drank out of a straw when she was about 4 months old. I didn’t press it on her, she just grabbed a straw and started sucking on it. At about 5 months old, she could actually get liquid out of the straw so I had to keep a better eye on her and my drinks.
I was getting ready to leave one morning and my husband yelled for me to come back in. Apparently, Evie started army crawling (that’s our latest excitement) towards my trophy mug (do you and your friends call your hospital water jug that too?), grabbed it and started drinking.
The kid is genius. Or thirsty.
