The first time I had a hot caramel apple cider was the fall of my sophomore year in college. I went to this trendy little coffee house to study for an exam, and it was there that my life would be changed forever.
Sure, I’ve had hot apple cider in the past, in fact hot cider is a long standing tradition during the Thanksgiving holiday at my parents home. But for all the countless mugs of cider I consumed growing up, never once was a drop of caramel whispered.
After my first smooth and steamy glass that fateful night on the campus of Michigan State University, I’ve been on a mission to replicate it’s autumnal goodness. You guys, DIY Hot Caramel Apple Cider is a major cinch. Totally simple.
