Wolf At 4 Months - Plus Stats!

wolf 4 months old
I'm four months old and as happy as can be!

Wolf turned 4 months old yesterday. That means he’s a third of a year old yahoo!  He had his check-up today and everything was great. The doctor was proud of his milestones and so are we.

Wolf has developed so much since he was born.  He’s becoming a little person and I absolutely love everything thing about him.  He’s always happy, always smiling and always a joy to be around.  We often laugh as we look back to those first days with Wolf and how different we thought our lives were going to be.  They are different, but also still much the same.

I thought I’d start a little series of Wolf’s quarterly stats to see his changes. Inspired by my blogpal Elizabeth, I thought it’d be fun to point out his special talents as well as likes and dislikes. Here we go!

birth – 7lbs, 8oz / 41%
4 months – 14lbs, 10 oz / 45%

birth – 21.5″ / 96%
4 months – 26″ / 84%

Special talents
Wolf especially likes to stand and sit up like a big kid.  He loves the feeling of weight on his feet!  He’s so close to being Mr. Roly Poly.  As I mentioned before, he rolled over when he was three months old with just a few here and there since.  Another special talent Wolf does is grabbing for things, especially drinking vessels.  He grabs our water glasses, bottles, etc, and brings them to his mouth.  He even got a taste of orange juice the other morning!

His favorite thing in the world right now {aside from mom and dad of course} is his jumper seat. You know, one of those bouncer things that hangs in the doorway.  He LOVES it.  Especially since we can put all his toys up there on the shelf and he can play there and bounce and bounce!  He also loves when dad reads him bedtime stories.

That yucky snot sucker.  Waking up and discovering he’s all alone.

Hopefully I’m not jinxing myself but Wolf is the best sleeper!!!  He goes to bed around 8:30 and sleeps until 5 or 6 in the morning… most nights without waking up!  He hates being too hot and has woken up occasionally at 3 in the morning when our house with no air conditioning is too hot but sleeps through the night most other nights.

How was your baby at 4 months?  I’d love to hear!
