Thanksgiving is my all-time favorite holiday. I love the festive fall decorations, I love the turkey, I love the mashed potatoes and I love cranberries from a can with the little lines on them (I know, I’m weird). But, most of all I love Thanksgiving because it’s a time for us to take pause from the busyness of our day-to-day happenings to remember the things that we are truly thankful for. Gratitude is definitely a lost art – especially when you’re a busy parent and sometimes the only thing on your mind is how you can possibly get through your day with a fussy baby relatively unscathed.
Even though there are definitely hard days as a parent, I wouldn’t trade it for the world and I definitely have a great many things to be thankful for when it comes to my little girl. So, I wanted to share 10 things about Fern that I am thankful for, and then invite you to share the things about your little one(s) that you’re thankful for in the comments – I’d love it if you’d join in! It really is a great way to help you reframe those challenging days as a parent – I know it was for me!
