Beautiful Fall Nail Colors I'm Already Obsessing Over

I know I know, it’s only the beginning of August and I’m talking about fall nail colors.

It seems like as soon as July is over, lots of us get into shopping for fall wardrobes, dreaming of Caramel Apple Spice drinks from Starbucks, and chilly nights by the fire.

And that typically doesn’t happen for at least 60 more days.

But, it’s fun to begin shopping and thinking about your fall wardrobe nonetheless, and as far as I’m concerned nail polish is just as important.

I’ve gathered what I think are the perfect fall nail shades. Nice and dark, that any woman can pull off!

  • Essie Swing Velvet 2 of 9

I picture this color in a jazz lounge in New York City. It's a sultry, mysterious red that would look great on toes and fingers this fall.

  • Essie Bahama Mama 3 of 9

If you love the brighter shades in the summer, look for similar shades in darker hues.

  • OPI Lincoln Park After Dark 4 of 9

This is a really pretty dark purple shade that looks great will a fall wardrobe.

  • Essie Wicked 5 of 9

A really dark and sultry plum that looks almost black.

  • Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Red My Lips 6 of 9

Just like a red lip, nothing is more classic than red nails.

Buy it at Target for $11.99

  • Essie Smokin’ Hot 7 of 9

This is my favorite grey. It's dark enough for fall without being too harsh.

  • Essie Playa Del Platinum 8 of 9

If you prefer a neutral nail, pick a slighly less translucent one for fall. I like the subtle grey hue in this one.

  • Essie Alligator Purse 9 of 9

Alligator Purse is a bit of a risky move since it's quite orange, but it's toned-down enough to still look cool.
