Is Cashmere Deodorant Worth the Splurge?

cashmeredeodorantLet’s be frank: we all stink.

I’m not above sharing my latest beauty find that goes where the going gets stinky.

We all know cashmere is the ultimate sweater luxury. So the thought of dressing my underarms in Donna Karan Cashmere Mist Deodorant had my FULL attention.

Leave it to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale to introduce you to all sorts of beauty products you never knew you always needed!

After talking with the sales associate for an extended length of time, I was convinced to bring it home with me. And now I know why they say, “It’s the ultimate cult product. You have to try it to believe it.” It’s incredibly gentle and lightly scented with a combination of Moroccan jasmine, lily of the valley, sandalwood, amber, and musk. The scent has my husband’s sniff of approval. Pretty sure my old, flakey drugstore deodorant doesn’t smell like date night, every night.

But smelling pretty isn’t reason enough to splurge for cashmere. The formula is both a deodorant and antiperspirant and keeps you fresh all day. Yes, other generic brands claim the same results; but I’m a believer that the proof is in the pit. Unlike other deodorants I’ve tossed, Cashmere Mist doesn’t zing or sting when applied to freshly shaven underarms. Now THAT, my friends, was reason enough to become a believer.

The verdict is in — Cashmere deodorant feels as good as it sounds.
