ESPN The Magazine's Annual Body Issue: Athletes Who've Bared All Over The Years

Every year ESPN The Magazine publishes their stunning Body Issue, featuring as many as 30 Athletes in motion wearing nothing but the skin they were born in. The 2013 issue hit newsstands this week, and it’s damn phenomenal to behold what the human body is capable of. Especially when you’re going through life in my body which takes days to recover after a 40 minute pilates class.

I am a huge fan of the Body Issue every year, because naked athletes are a sight worth seeing. Not just because they’re crazy hot, but because they give us something real to aspire to — the truth of what the body should look like when your focus is health and exercise — as opposed to dieting and posing. I also can’t get over how different sports craft different bodies. It’s pretty magnificent.

Curious if you’re favorite sports star has stripped down for ESPN’s photographers? (Trust me, odds are they have.) Below, a selection of the uninhibited athletes who have bared all for the mothership over the past five years.
