Fall Smoky Eyes! 1 of 10
Follow steps to create this smoky eye look on yourself!
Step 1 Prime your eyelids 2 of 10
Priming will help ensure that your eyeshadow will last from day to night. This step will also help your eyeshadow appear much more vibrant on your lids.
Step 2 Apply your base color 3 of 10
A base color is a color that isn't really noticeable, however plays an important role such as absorbing any oils that may be on the lid this way your main shadows glide on your lid without looking uneven.
Step 3 Apply darkest shadow to the outer corners 4 of 10
Apply the darkest shadow to the outer corners of your eyes to add dimension to your eyes. the darker the shadow the more depth you will add to your look. In this look I chose a matte dark brown eyeshadow and applied it from my outer lash line to my crease.
Step 4 Apply Dark shadow to lower lash line 5 of 10
Make top and bottom lash lines symmetrical, this will bring the look together.
Step 5 Apply medium shadow 6 of 10
Apply a lighter shadow to the remainder of the lid blending it into the dark shadow. When creating a perfect eye look you want to use three main shadows a dark, medium, and light shadow this will create the perfect balance.
Step 6 Highlight 7 of 10
Apply a highlighting shadow to your brow bone and inner corners. Doing this will bring brightness to your eyes.
Step 7 Line and define 8 of 10
Use a black liner on your top and bottom lash line. This will tie the look together but most importantly define your eyes making them appear sultry. Tip: if you have small eyes avoid taking the liner all the way around just focus on the outer corners.
Step 8 Mascara 9 of 10
Finish off this look by applying two coats of your favorite mascara.
