“Go from wet to beautifully styled hair faster than ever with the QuikStyle paddle brush from Goody. Super-absorbent microfiber bristles remove 30% of water as you blow dry or brush your hair. It’s like a towel and a brush in one!” The QuikStyle paddle brush has antimicrobial microfibers that keep the brush fresh, side vents for maximum air flow, and a lightweight design to reduce hand fatigue while drying.
Sounds great, right?!
I’ve been using the QuikStyle Brush for a couple weeks now, and I’m totally unimpressed. It takes me 10 minutes to blow out my hair with a regular paddle brush, and 10 minutes to blow out my hair with the QuikStyle. If you haven’t towel-dried your hair, the claim holds true that it removes 30% of water as you blow it dry. But honestly, who doesn’t ring out their hair before they blow it out?
If you’re going to spend $20 on a brush, get the Sam Villa Paddle Brush. It’s constructed from solid one-piece bamboo, which is lightweight and durable. It has tourmaline infused nylon fibers, which create negative ions that penetrate and condition the hair when heat and tension are applied. This brush is amazing.
So back to the QuikStyle: don’t waste your hard-earned money, because it’s a cheap plastic brush that doesn’t speed up dry time.
