Hairstyles: Easy Summer Braids Three Ways

Beauty_Summer Braids 3 WaysSummertime is when I feel the most ‘free’… the time when I want to spend the least amount of time doing my hair and makeup, but it isn’t as though I want to give up entirely.  It is this odd dichotomy of wanting to make a little effort but look and feel relaxed.  Does that even make sense?

I want my makeup to look ‘effortless’, but present.  I want my hair to be done, but not structured or uptight. For hairstyles, I do ‘beachy waves’ quite a bit, but every now and then I want something different.  Let’s be honest, it would be great to have a stylist making sure things were just right, but that isn’t going to happen in this lifetime.

So, it’s up to me to be creative and figure out what I can do on the go. I’ve always been the kind of girl who just leaves her hair down and heads out the door – so it has been so much fun this summer to experiment.

Braids are an easy, stylish fix and right now they are perfectly on trend – especially when you make them just a little bit messy.  That’s what I love about these three options…they don’t take a lot of time or effort and they DEFINITELY don’t need to be perfect (you will certainly see that in the video).
