How to Play Up Blue Eyes

Your makeup can either accent or take away from your natural features. Just as it’s really important to find the right shade of foundation for your skin tone, it’s equally important to find flattering eye makeup colors.

If you have blue eyes, your eye makeup can be pretty simple to figure out. Browns, neutrals, grays, taupes, and many other earth tones will flatter your eye color. The right browns may even make your blue eyes pop more than others.

Search for rich browns that have little to no red in them. Sometimes red undertones can make blue eyes look tired. Similarly, brown or grey liners will add definition without being too harsh on light eyes.
