How To Wash Your Hair In Space

You think you have hair problems… Imagine shampooing your hair in zero gravity. NASA astronaut,  Karen Nyberg  demonstrates how she defies gravity to shampoo hair on the International Space Station. As the only female member of Expedition 36, she has received a lot of questions through social media about how she cares for her hair.

With warm water, no-rinse shampoo, a comb, a mirror and a towel, Nyberg shows the world  how to wash her hair in the video below.  Notice the beads of water floating in the air.  She has her in space hair routine down to a science.
