There is literally an unending supply of new beauty products hitting the shelf constantly. I think about what it was like, say 50 years or so ago, when the choices were much more limited. If you wanted to be creative with lipstick, you picked out a red shade — and the same went for nail polish as well. These days, you can rock nearly any shade under the sun, if worn correctly. It makes it much more fun to experiment and change up your look!
The key to picking out new shades for winter is to stay in the warm tones: think jewel shades and rich, luxurious colors. The warmth from those colors will help warm up your face. And don’t go overboard with too many trends in one look. If you want to wear a bold lip, keep the eyes simple and classic. Conversely, wear a nude/pink lip with a smokey eye. And, in my personal opinion, keep the glitter/sparkle to a bare minimum!
