Maybelline Falsies Big Eyes Mascara Review

face I’m a sucker for new mascara.

I tried Maybelline’s Falsies when it first came out and found it to be a little “spider-y”.

So when they launched the new “Big Eyes” version of their popular mascara, I thought I’d give that a shot to see if it was better.

There is no doubt that this mascara builds volume. And even on the wimpiest lashes, which I happen to hold the title of. It’s a little bit clumpy and the wand doesn’t smooth through each lash as well as some others, but it piles on the product with each swipe.

I wasn’t completely blown away with this mascara, but I did like it much better than the original “Falsies“. I found it to be a little bit more forgiving and build-able without drying too fast or getting clumpy on me.

It’s a little bit heavy, so if you have weak lashes that don’t hold a curl, this may not be the formula for you. However, if you have a fairly decent set of lashes, you might find that this is a great volume building formula!

I absolutely LOVED the smaller wand for the lower lashes. It grabs every lash and defines them perfectly. That alone makes this mascara a keeper in my opinion!

Buy it at Ulta for $7.99
