My Favorite Lazy Girl Beauty Tips, Tricks and Products

Confession: I am the laziest of the lazy when it comes to beauty.

I love getting dolled up and looking pretty as much as the next girl, but sometimes I’m just too lazy to put in more than the bare minimum. My beauty motto (and really my life motto) is: “Minimal effort. Maximum Impressiveness.” When it comes to anything and everything, I am always looking for the easiest, yet most impressive looking way to do something. I love when people compliment me on makeup that took 30 seconds to do or when someone tells me how great my hair looks when I haven’t washed it in seven days.

So, I thought it was about time to share a few of my favorite lazy girl beauty moves with you lovelies…because sometimes you’ve just gotta cut corners.

Because sometimes you're just feeling a little bit lazy.

  • BB Cream 2 of 12
My Favorite Lazy Girl Beauty Tips, Tricks and Products

BB Cream is the easiest way to look a bit more polished when you don't have time for a million products. It brightens and refines your skin and makes sure you remember to put on sunscreen with it's built-in SPF so you don't have any excuses for not protecting your skin. This one from Dr. Jart is fantastic.

  • Face Wipes 3 of 12
My Favorite Lazy Girl Beauty Tips, Tricks and Products

I am the absolute worst about washing my face. SO. LAZY. That's why face wipes are the ultimate in lazy girl beauty. Just keep a pack next to your bed so you won't have any excuses for falling asleep with a dirty face. These ones from Boots are one of my favorites.

  • 2-In-1 Items 4 of 12
My Favorite Lazy Girl Beauty Tips, Tricks and Products

Products that pull double duty are the best for saving you time and effort and I will forever be loyal to the cheek stain by Tarte (it can be used as lip stain too!). The texture is awesome and this peachy color would be perfect for summer.

  • The Hair Change-Up 5 of 12
My Favorite Lazy Girl Beauty Tips, Tricks and Products

I am suuuuuper lazy about washing my hair and have often been known to go insanely long between washings (my personal record is three weeks). One of my best secrets for achieving this is "The Hair Change-Up", which basically means changing up your hairstyle each day when you're in between washings. So for example, the day I wash my hair I will usually wear my hair down and then on subsequent days I'll do a bun or a braid or even wear it down again. The reason this helps extend hair washings is because it helps redistribute the oils in your hair. It's a lifesaver.

See more details about how to extend your time between hair washings in my video here.

  • Become BFFs with the top knot 6 of 12

The top knot. Know it. Love it. It's far more chic than greasy hair. Just sayin'.

  • Get a turban 7 of 12

A turban is an absolute must on bad/dirty hair days.

See more details about how to wear a turban in my video here.

  • Dry Shampoo 8 of 12
My Favorite Lazy Girl Beauty Tips, Tricks and Products

I could not live without dry shampoo. Even on days when my hair is clean, I like to spritz a little at my roots to give my hair a bit of added volume. Works like a charm and can save SO much time in keeping you from having to wash your hair every day. I've tried a ton of different dry shampoos but this one is my favorite and the price is pretty great.

  • No-Heat Curls 9 of 12
My Favorite Lazy Girl Beauty Tips, Tricks and Products

Ever since I discovered this no heat curl tutorial from The Paper Mama styling my hair has been a breeze. All I do is wash at night and then follow this super quick process and go to sleep. When I wake up: voila! Curls!

  • Conditioner as shaving cream 10 of 12
My Favorite Lazy Girl Beauty Tips, Tricks and Products

Not only is this another 2-in-1 option for a product, but it's also way cheaper than shaving cream. I will actually often buy a cheap conditioner to use solely as shaving cream, because it makes my legs way smoother, but you can totally just use the conditioner you already have...I just don't like to waste the good stuff. It works in a pinch though and is my go-to for saving space when I'm traveling.

  • Lipstick 11 of 12
My Favorite Lazy Girl Beauty Tips, Tricks and Products

Nothing changes up your look quite like lipstick. Even on my laziest days, swiping on a bit of lipstick and doing nothing else can instantly brighten my face and make me look more put together. This one is my favorite and perfect for every day. I have it in a ton of different colors, but lately I'm loving it in Wild Watermelon.

  • Sunglasses 12 of 12
My Favorite Lazy Girl Beauty Tips, Tricks and Products

For the days when I just have zero motivation, but still need to make a grocery store run, sunglasses are my best friend. They can cover up dark circles like nobody's business and make you look chic in the process. Granted, you may look a little crazy walking around in sunglasses on a rainy day, but celebrities do it all the time, so why not? This pair is totally on-trend and perfect for summer.
