My Newest Beauty Obsession: eos Smooth Sphere Lip Balm

eos_sphere_blueberry_acaiI have a problem. I’m a totally beauty and hair product junkie. I work so hard to find that perfect product. Once I get it, I’m hooked. Sad, I know. My obsession with eos (evolution of smooth) Smooth Sphere Lip Balm is no exception.

Living in the Midwest for more than five years, we would joke about our addiction to Carmex Lip Balm. The only thing about Carmex is that it’s mostly petroleum jelly, which is great for that “I just ate a bucket of fried chicken” look. It does nothing, really, for moisturizing your lips. Petroleum jelly is more of a cheap filler.

With this product knowledge, I began my hunt for something a little more natural. My desired ingredients were coconut oil and shea butter. Both ingredients are naturally hydrating and soften skin. eos Smooth Sphere Lip Balm has both of these ingredients. These products are also 100% natural, 95% organic, and have a Good Guide Rating of 8 out of 10. Here’s a list of 30 More Natural Lip Balms to consider.

And according to a fellow Babble Beauty contributor, Smooth Sphere Lip Balm can also be used to soften your nail cuticles. (Who knew?!) Babble has named it one of the Best Natural Lip Balms.

Blueberry Acai is the newest eos Smooth Sphere Lip Balm flavor. It is antioxidant-rich and filled with refreshing blueberry and acai flavor. I have to admit, even if I wasn’t addicted, I probably would buy this one anyway. I simply love the blue sphere (it’s soooo purrty!!!). It’s available in Target Stores for $2.99 — so buy them all! Your lips will thank you.

Recently, eos Lip Balm has been my little gift to myself. I currently have about 3 in rotation. I have my eye on a 4th flavor, but don’t tell my husband ;-).
