You may have heard that lotion or petroleum jelly are good eye make-up removers. Coconut oil is even better! Use moistened makeup remover wipes or cotton balls dampened with water then dipped into the coconut oil and apply directly to your eyelids to get rid of the most stubborn raccoon eyes. Adding a warm cuticle oil to soften and prevent dry cuticles and hangnails is a wonderful way to pamper yourself. You can buy cuticle oil or use a natural oil, like almond oil from your health food store. Honestly, almost any natural oil will do the trick.

Using oil to moisturize your face seems a little counterproductive ... at least that's what I thought until I did a little research on the oil cleanse method. I modified the oil cleanse method to work for my skin type and regimen and I have found that my face is more hydrated. Avocado oil is perfect as a facial moisturizer -- it's light and absorbs quickly into the skin.
