Playful Summer Party Eyes

summertimepartysteps

Summer is about color and fun, so I wanted to create this look that was just that. This look is about standing out and showing your playful side. Follow these quick steps and watch the detailed video (below) to see this look in action!

Step 1: Apply a yellow cream eyeshadow; this step is crucial as it will help your shadow last longer and appear more vibrant.

Step 2: Apply a burnt orange shadow to the inner and outer corners of the eyes this will create a butterfly effect while adding dimension.

Step 3: Blend around the edges of the orange shadow. This will soften the look, making it sultry and smoky.

Step 4: Apply a shimmery gold shadow to the center of your lid, creating a multi-dimensional look. The light will dance off of your eyes!

Step 5: Use a purple liner to trace your eyes around both top and bottom lashes. When using a color liner, make sure it compliments the shadow, as this will add a bit of fun to your eyes.

Step 6: Set your liner with a matching shadow; not only will this help you liner last longer, but it will soften the edges, creating drama to your lash line.

Step 7: Groom your brows! Never ignore this step as it will tie your whole look together. Remember your brows frame your eyes, and you wouldn’t ever put an amazing painting up without a great frame…right?!

Step 8: Add false lashes (this is optional).

Step 9: Add mascara to help blend your natural and false lashes. If you skipped step 8 then add two coats of mascara.

Your party eyes are  complete and now you’re ready to be the life of the party. Hope you’re enjoying your summer!
