Product Review: June Jacobs Papaya Purifying Shower Gel and Age Defying SPF 25

I have been using June Jacobs Papaya Purifying Shower Gel and Intensive Age Defying Hydrating Complex SPF 25 for a few weeks now. I hadn’t heard of the brand before, so I was thrilled when I had the opportunity to try a couple of their products. June Jacobs is primarily sold in spas across the world, as well as on QVC. In the slideshow below, I give a full honest review of both products.

The finest spa collection at your fingertips. Yes, please!

I was beyond excited when I discovered that June Jacobs made a Papaya Shower Gel. Papaya is my favorite fruit to eat — it reminds me of one of my favorite places we vacation at in Mexico. Not only is papaya yummy to eat, but it happens to have extraordinary skincare benefits. It's packed full of vitamin C, minerals, flavonoids, and anti-oxidants. My skin feels hydrated and baby soft, and it smells delicious. I only wish the 6.7 fl oz bottle was bigger!

Added Bonus: Paraben and Preservative Free

What's in it: Papaya Extract, Rice Bran Extract, Soybean Seed Extract, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Vitamin E, Panthenol (Pro Vitamin B5)

My friends know me as the Sunscreen Queen. Whether we are at a park, the beach, or an outdoor restaurant, you can pretty much guarantee that I will have a bottle of sunscreen on me. What I LOVE about this SPF by June Jacobs is that it's WAY more than a sunscreen. It's a daily anti-aging moisturizer packed full of rice, soy, and algae extracts along with elastin and collagen to firm skin, improve elasticity, and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. That's a lot going on in this tiny bottle. When I apply it to my skin, I first notice that it is practically unscented (that's a plus in my book); the cream-like formula melts into my skin with NO white residue. It does not feel heavy or greasy, and my skin actually feels smoother and looks firm. The price point is a little hefty for such a small bottle at only 1.6 fl oz, but if you can afford the splurge, I highly suggest this skincare all-star.

Added Bonus: Paraben and Preservative Free

What's in it: Rice Bran Extract, Soy Isoflavones, Collagen, Elastin, Algae Extract, Allantoin and a blend of White, Red and Green Tea extracts combined with Goji Berry, Pomegranate and Grape Seed Extracts.

Oxybenzone 5% and Avobenzone 3% (protect against UVA rays)

Homosalate 10% and Octinoxate 7.5% (Protect against UVB rays)
