REVIEW: Flower About Face Foundation

SetHeight500-AboutFace

Last month, I posted about Drew Barrymore’s Flower beauty products. I love the concept behind this unique brand. Unlike most cosmetics lines, they don’t spend the majority of their funds on advertising. In fact, they don’t advertise at all. All of their resources are instead focused on product development and the highest quality ingredients.

The kind folks at Flower sent me a few products to sample. I really love their Win Some, Rouge Some Creme Blush and Color Play Crème Eyeshadow but one item took me by surprise. I’m really picky about what I put on my face and I was pretty sure I would quickly toss the sample of About Face Foundation they sent me. Then I tried it.

The fragrance-free product is dispensed in a pump and one squirt was the perfect amount to cover my face and neck. It blended amazingly well and almost seemed to disappear into my skin. My skin tone looked even and luminous. My coworkers immediately noticed the difference and commented on how nice it looked.

As the day wore on, my foundation continued too look great. It never felt heavy or got cakey. I was really impressed! I later learned that the moisturizing formula contains antioxidants vitamin C and E to fight aging. Flower About Face Foundation is truly comparable to luxury brand foundations at a fraction of the cost. It’s available in 14 shades at Walmart stores and at walmart.com for $13.98.
