REVIEW: Hot Tools On-the-Go Pro Hairsetter

The Hot Tools On-the-Go Pro Hairsetter is available on Folica. $36

I’ve been having so much fun with the Hot Tools On-the-Go Pro Hairsetter! Hot rollers are a terrific way to add curl to your hair and this set is ultra-compact and easy-to-use. Rollers are more gentle for your hair than curling irons and are quicker for setting hair. They are fantastic for creating the soft, bouncy curls found in 1940s, 50s, and 60s styles. I also like to use hot rollers to set hair before an updo.

This particular hairsetter comes with 10 one-inch rollers and clips housed in a cute shiny pink carrying case. The case itself plugs in and heats the rollers in about 15 minutes. The rollers are flocked for grip and I find winding my hair on to these to be super easy. Once rolled you simply secure with a butterfly clip and wait for them to cool.

I really love the ease and portability of this hairsetter. I can’t wait to take it with me on summer getaways, when I don’t want to be spending a lot of time with a blowdryer or curling iron. A set of 10 rollers work just fine for my hair but be warned that if you have a lot of hair, you may have to set your hair in two rounds.
