REVIEW: Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain

revlon-just-bitten-kissable-balm-stain

So I was perusing my local drugstore looking for a fuchsia lipcolor, when I happened upon Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain. Although I was a little perplexed by the idea of a balm and stain in one product, a bright raspberry shade named Smitten was calling my name.

I bought it and quickly got it unwrapped to give this so-called “balm stain” a trial run. I have to admit, I love a chubby pencil for ease of application and this gel-based formula went on smooth and glossy. It softened my typically chapped lips and the color was plenty vibrant. As the day wore on, I noticed that although the gloss wore off, the color persisted. It lasted through eating and drinking and didn’t seem to dry out my lips the way that other stains do.

As a hairstylist, I often don’t have the time to reapply my lipcolor but stains typically don’t mix that well with my dry lips. Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Stain Balm is a fantastic blend of moisture and lightweight stain. I love it!

This awesome Stain Balm is available in 12 fun colors for $7.19 on Drugstore. I will definitely be picking this product up in more colors. Next on my list: Rendezvous and Romantic.
