REVIEW: Seventh Generation Body LotionSonya Benham
I’m always on the lookout for healthy skincare options for my family. While I tend to use a wide variety of products on my own body, I usually opt for all-natural products for my son and my husband definitely prefers them.
Seventh Generation is a brand that I often purchase for house cleaning products. The company has a great reputation for creating healthier options for both people and the environment. When we discovered that they offer a body lotion, my husband and I had to try it.
The 95% plant-based lotion is available in 3 varieties: Lavender, Chamomile for sensitive skin, and the new Mandarin. They are fragranced with natural oils and botanical extracts and don’t contain parabens or phthalates.
We picked up both Lavender and Mandarin. They are both very delicately scented, especially the Mandarin, which just gives off a hint of citrus. I love that the Lavender is light and clean smelling because I find too much of the essential oil overwhelming. The lotion feels great; it absorbs quickly and doesn’t feel sticky or greasy.
The packaging is created from 96% post-consumer recycled plastic so you can feel as good about protecting the environment as you do about protecting your family from harmful additives. Seventh Generation Body Lotion can be found at a wide variety of retailers and on the Seventh Generation website for $7.99.
