Diet food. Sugar-free, fat-free, calorie-free beauties that you can gorge yourself on and never feel guilty about indulging with, right? In actuality, diet foods may be increasing the poundage you’re carrying around and thickening the very midsection you are trying to shrink. Is your diet food actually making you fatter?

10 Diet Foods That Will Make You Fat

Fat-free Salad Dressing

The problem with salads is that they can often pack a large amount of fat in the dressing, so to counteract that, you serious dieters believe eliminating the fat will solve this dilemma. Enter: The Fat-free Dressing. No fat and a pile of vegetables. However, not only do fat-free dressings usually include enough sugar to be tossing jelly beans willy nilly into your salad, they also do nothing for those fat-soluble vitamins in the vegetables you're eating, like lycopene and beta-carotene, which are not being absorbed and just passing through.
Make your own vinaigrette instead and benefit from healthy fats, lots of taste, and get the most of those vitamins and nutrients.

Home made salad dressings are just so much tastier than commercial dressings. And they’re bound to be healthier, too. Like they say, if you can’t pronounce the ingredients on the package, you probably shouldn’t be consuming them! Works for me!

Shouldn’t you make the distinction between dark meat ground turkey and white meat ground turkey? I know most restaurants will use the dark stuff, but that doesn’t mean you can’t save calories by using the white stuff at home.

my motto eat what you want just shrink portions instead of two double cheeseburgs with everything just eat one instead of a heaping handful of french fries eat a small handful instead of diet soda in a large or extra large drink a small if it doesn’t fill you up drink more water works for me I’ve lost over 30 pounds in 6 months just cutting back on portions sizes don’t ever skip meals as that makes your body store fat thinking it will need it as it doesn’t know when the next meal is coming also exercise even if its just chasin your littles around the living room for a half hour just what I do I’m not overly active and veg on the computer most of my day I also nap with my little more often than not I’m the first to admit I’m lazy but I have a goal I want bikini body in time for moving to VA probably not gonna happen only have a month left but I’ve lost about 5 inches and 30 pounds so far so I think I’m doin pretty good
