10 Fantastic Fall Squash Recipes

The supermarkets and farmers markets are just overflowing right now with all types of winter squash. Some of them we’re pretty familiar with, like butternuts and acorns, while other squash will even send me to do a Google search. There are many times I have been browsing the aisles of the produce section and have seen a squash, or other vegetable for that matter, and didn’t have a clue what it was. That’s why I always bring along my iPhone. I have Internet service on it so I can quickly search to see what it is I’m looking at, and find a few basic recipes so I have an idea of how to cook it.

Here I have assembled a list of some delicious winter squash recipes, all of which use a different winter squash. But don’t fear, all of the squash listed below should be available at your local market.

I actually have some acorn squash in the oven right now that I am making into a soup. This soup with the addition of apples is so lovely.
