10 Foods I Adore, But Used to Hate!

When I was little I was a picky eater. I wasn’t horribly awful, but it was enough that I would turn up my nose at quite a few things. Luckily, with time and exposure I came around to most things I used to hate. I still hate broccoli, however, and stand by the fact that it is a good vegetable to hide in things like frittatas and omelets. Other than that, I now devour all sorts of yummy foods that I can’t believe I let myself miss out on when I was young!

    This gorgeous frittata would have made me gag twenty years ago; I couldn't stand asparagus! Now I've come around and grow it in my garden.

    Soy milk is still not a favorite of mine, but I do like to make fresh fruit smoothies with it. These are great for breakfast!

    I would never, EVER have glanced at a green smoothie when I was younger, but now I love slurping these down as a snack or a refresher in the morning.
