12 Healthy Spring Dessert Recipes Kids Will Love!

In our house, a focus on healthy eating doesn’t mean we’re resigned to a life of rice cakes and carrot sticks. I do my best to offer a balanced diet with plenty of room for the occasional sweet treat. I love harnessing the natural sweetness of fruit for kid-friendly desserts —— fresh fruit often means I can cut back on the sugar and still appeal to younger palates. If sweeteners are involved, and they sometimes are, I try to make them count by adding whole grains, protein, or healthy fats to the mix. With these healthier eating principles in mind, I put together a round up of of fruity spring sweets with healthy twists —— just in time for warmer weather!

Head below for 12 healthy spring dessert recipes that kids will love!
