I have a huge case of spring fever — the outdoors are calling me as the temperatures are warming up. While I’m not able to be outside all day everyday, I can pack up a quick picnic for myself and the little one to get outside for a bit to enjoy the fresh air and a little quality time. Picnics don’t have to be anything elaborate. Pack up your basket and go to your local park or even just take a blanket out to the backyard. Regardless where you are, you’ll enjoy eating al fresco and spending quality time together.  If you’re looking for foods to stuff in your basket, we’ve put together 12 classic picnic foods (including that beautiful buttermilk fried chicken pictured above). You can find them all, after the jump.
