I have one friends that makes a very special Christmas gift every year. She makes chutneys and gives them out as gifts, instead of cookies or some other candy or sweet. I absolutely love to get a jar of her homemade chutney. It’s not overly sweet, and is the perfect treat on toast or an English muffin for breakfast. It also goes well at dinner with meats.
