Full disclosure – there is rarely a bag of candy corn just lying around my house.

This is because the bag rarely makes it home from the store. Candy corn is one of those treats that begs to be opened in the car and consumed the moment it’s purchased.

But then sometime toward the end of October, I go into “Candy Corn Panic” (not to be confused with “Marshmallow Peeps Panic,” which occurs each spring). Do you know what I’m talking about? That moment when you realize that this is a seasonal item, and you’d better stock up, because soon there will be no more candy corn left at all!!!


So in my efforts to “stock up,” there are times when I have an extra bag or two four in my cupboard. And I’ve found some truly clever recipes to use my beloved Halloween treat!
