20 Summer Dinners to Make Without Turning on the Oven

The heatwaves are coming and we all know it. When it gets hot the last thing I want to do is turn on the oven. The oven is the appliance that turns my house into the hottest place on the planet. Not really, obviously, but that is what it feels like when it is 90 degrees F outside and the oven is cranking at 350 degrees for over half an hour. So, when the heatwaves come I keep the oven turned OFF. I make dinners that are no-cook, or barely require any stovetop heat. It is about keeping it simple and oven-free. Of course, the good news is that you really don’t have to sacrifice quality just because you don’t want to turn on the oven. There are tons of great dishes you can make and your family with love!
