Start your day off with something sweet by whipping up a classic dessert for breakfast! When it comes to family-friendly treats, there’s nothing gooier or more decadent than s’mores — and, lucky for you, we’ve got three ways to enjoy ‘em, all from Susan Whetzel’s The S’mores Cookbook. Make just one of these recipes, and your kids are sure to dart right out of bed and head straight for the breakfast table.
Chocolate Graham Pancakes
Expect cheers all around when you serve up stacks of these chocolaty pancakes! The ratio of graham cracker to flour really heightens the s’mores flavor, and, of course, the marshmallow syrup brings it all together!
S’mores Stuffed French Toast
Chocolate and Fluff are stuffed into thick slices of bread and topped with crunchy graham crackers and even more chocolate. You’ll definitely hear cries for s’more!
Flaky, gooey, chocolaty — turnovers are a cinch to make and are an excellent choice for breakfast on the go. Or, if you are so inclined, serve them warm as a dessert with a scoop of ice cream.
