3 Easy, Elegant Mothers Day CocktailsBrooke McLay
With Easter tipping it’s hat to the horizon this weekend, it’s time to start conjuring plans for Mother’s Day. In our house, Mother’s Day somehow turns into a forgotten holiday. I find myself on my feet all afternoon, making meal preparations, and tossing the kids into baths just before bed. It’s a labor of love. And, though I’ve found myself grumbling for rest on some years, I love to remember that the true celebration of motherhood is just being with my kiddos.
Of course, sitting back with a bit of bubbly, or serving up a special cocktail to your own mother or to that special woman in your life can turn Mother’s Day into a day kissed with that extra special touch of thoughtfulness.
This year, make Mother’s Day memorable by serving that traditional treat: Breakfast in Bed. Next to the plate of perfectly browned French toast, offer her something celebratory a glass of bubbly, something flowery or even fruity. PAMA Pomegranate Liqueur, Denizen Rum, and St. Germain Liqueur helps you do this in style. Here are three of their favorite suggestions for Mother’s Day Cocktails. Whether you serve up a special Champagne or the Martini-esque Fruit Cocktail drink, you’re sure to make Mother’s Day a day worth remembering.
Jazz up a boring Mimosa by adding other fruit liqueurs to make it even more delectable.
