Simple desserts are often some of the very best. This chocolate mousse is made with only three ingredients. And get this – it’s also dairy-free, egg-free, gluten-free, and completely delicious.
The process is also very simple – nothing more than heating coconut milk and adding it to chopped chocolate. Just like making ganache. Then a little raw honey or pure maple syrup is added to sweeten it every so slightly. The result is a dense dark chocolate mousse to rival any other. Because it is so rich and decadent, a little scoop is all you need. It goes really well with berries and is the perfect little dessert.
3-Ingredient Chocolate Mousse

8 ounces dark chocolate, chopped
One 14-ounce can coconut milk (light or full-fat)
1 Tablespoon raw honey or pure maple syrup
Optional garnish – fresh berries and chocolate shavings
1. Place chopped chocolate into a large bowl.
2. Heat the coconut milk until very hot. Pour over the chocolate and let stand for 5-10 minutes, or until chocolate is completely melted.
3. Add the honey and whisk until smooth. Cover and refrigerate until firm.
4. To serve – spoon small scoops into dessert bowls. Top with fresh fruit and chocolate shavings, if desired.
