Memorial Day is waning on. So far I’ve accomplished plenty of household chores, but no real fun activities for the kids. In an attempt to save the day and get them moving and having a good time on their day of, I came up with a few fun and easy ideas to make this Memorial Day memorable.
Margaritaville 1 of 5Serve up a patriotic treat with these margaritas. The colors of the flag represented, these can be made kid-friendly so everyone can share in the celebration of our freedom.

Ice Cream Slave 2 of 5Take a bike ride to your local ice cream shop. One of our favorite activities as a family is to grab our bikes and head out around the neighborhood. The local ice cream shop is a favorite destination for special occasions, and a perfect stop on a day like today. No ice cream shop? Take your bike ride while your ice cream is hardening in your freezer, and then come home to a creamy treat.

Popcorn Picking 4 of 5Why not pop cup a patriotic treat? Kids will love this sweet popcorn, and it's so easy to throw together for a fun picnic snack. You could also make it by melting candy melts and drizzling them over popped popcorn for an even easier snacktime treat.
